Internationalisation
The School’s internationalisation activity is aimed at developing new opportunities to recruit international UG, PGT and PGR students to come to Glasgow, and on encouraging Glasgow students to add an international dimension to their studies e.g. by spending time overseas as part of an exchange programme; by taking a work placement overseas; by joining the University’s Exploration Society and spending time on expedition during the long vacation.

Current areas of activity include:
- Brazil - Science Without Borders programme for UG students
- India – recruitment of Masters students
- Malaysia – developing Joint Masters and PhD programmes
- Saudi Arabia – PhD students
- USA – Study Abroad and Summer Schools for UG students
