If you are interested in coming to Glasgow as a Study Abroad or ERASMUS exchange student, you may find the following information about the structure of our degree programmes in biology helpful when making course choices on your application form.

Structure of degree programmes in biology
Students coming for a whole year to Glasgow will typically take 120 credits. The normal credit load for one semester is 60 credits.
All Life Science courses are potentially available to Study Abroad and ERASMUS Exchange students, however, Honours Projects are only open to students doing a complete Level-4 year in Biology.
Study Abroad students can take courses in more than one College or School.
ERASMUS students coming to Glasgow through the Life Sciences agreement will normally only take courses in the School of Life Sciences.

Four Honours Options (4 x 20 credits) |
These are advanced courses - you should have studied the major subject for minimum of two years before applying for these courses. |
