Considering study abroad
Most of you will have heard something about ‘study abroad’ before coming to Glasgow during ‘invitation days’: indeed, many report this was one of the key attractions in choosing to study here.
At some stage in semester 2 of year 1, you will have a chance to find out more about ‘study abroad’ opportunities. You should begin to think about the advantages (and any disadvantages?) of study abroad. You may want to discuss ‘study abroad’ with your parents at some stage – doubtless, you will also be discussing this with your fellow-students. At this stage – and certainly before the start of course choices in year 2 – you will want to consider this matter with some care. The ‘Student Lifecycle’ scheme places the onus of determining course choices firmly upon you!
