Visiting Scholars and Students
The School of Law University of Glasgow operates a Visiting Scholar Scheme with periods up to 12 months' residency available.
The aim of the scheme is to discuss and share ideas with another academic in our school who works within the same field of interest. From this mutual collaboration may come ideas and, possibly, future projects. We accept visiting academics from a wide range of backgrounds and research fields. They can be either supported by their institutions or self-funded. However we can accept some PhD students provided they wish to visit the School to spend time collaborating with other academics and not as a formal element of their study programme. Students who require formal supervision must apply through the graduate school.
