International summer school 2014

a tower by some water with people looking aroundFrom 2014, the Solway Centre will hold an environment and culture summer school for international students. The school will last for two weeks and include

  • fieldtrips to sites of interest, such as wetland areas, forests, museums, land art and the Galloway & South Ayrshire Biosphere
  • seminars with leading experts in environmental studies, Scottish culture and literature
  • a social programme featuring leading cultural practitioners: singers, storytellers and artists.

Self-catering accommodation is available in our on-campus residences or in the town of Dumfries.
