Visit the Centre
The Centre welcomes applications from scholars who wish to spend time here, for example during the summer or a sabbatical leave. We also consider applications from graduate students who would like to visit for some period of time. To apply please e-mail us with a brief curriculum vitae and details of your research plans in the first instance. Thereafter applications can be made to the University to be a visiting researcher:

- The Royal Society of Edinburgh International Exchanges
- Fulbright Scholar Awards
- The Caledonian Research Foundation is offering European Visiting Research Fellowships of up to £6,000 for European academics to spend up to six months visiting an academic instituition in Scotland.
- The Leverhulme Trust enables distinguished academics based overseas to spend between three and ten months inclusive at a UK university.
- The Bednarowski Trust is offering three visiting fellowships to enable philosophers in Polish Universities to visit philosophy departments in Scottish Universities during the academic year 2010-11. Visits will normally be for a minimum of six weeks, though it may be possible to vary this by arrangement. The scheme aims to enable Polish philosophers to learn more about Philosophy in the English-speaking world, and to make contact with philosophers in Aberdeen or other Scottish universities. Successful applicants will receive support towards their travel, and accommodation and a small stipend during their stay in Scotland. Study space and access to computer and library facilities will be provided.
