Dissertation
This is your opportunity to put everything you’ve learnt into use in a topic you have chosen to specialise on. The dissertation is typically 12-15,000 words long, and is the culmination of your study towards an MLitt. (Students taking a Diploma or Postgraduate Certificate do not embark on a dissertation.) You are assigned to an expert in your field, and focus on your dissertation during the summer months.
