The nature of the work carried out by the Centre for Battlefield Archaeology attracts much attention from the media. The Director of the Centre, Dr Tony Pollard, is of course no stranger to the spotlight having co-presented the BBC battlefield archaeology series Two Men in a Trench, amoung other television productions including a Time Team Special based on the project he led in Belgium, excavating a First World War British dugout near Ypres.

Not only have many of the Centre's projects appeared in the national press, Tony has also written extensively about his own research, thoughts and ideas, contributing to magazines such as Skirmish. To read some of these articles use the links on the left hand side.
