The lecture will be held in the Main Lecture Theatre, Sir Alexander Stone Building, 16 University Gardens. Tea and coffee will be available in the foyer from 5.00 pm, and the lecture will begin at 5.30 pm.

Bidh fàilte ga cur air tagraidhean phàipearan-sgoilearach (ann an Gàidhlig no Beurla) air cuspair sam bith a tha buntainn ris a’ Ghàidhlig, m.e. eachdraidh, litreachas, cànanachas, foghlam, ealain, poileasaidh-cànain, ainmean-àite, na meadhanan, poileasaidh sòisealta agus eaconomach. Cuirear fàilte air tagraidhean bho oileanaich iar-cheumnach.
Bidh pàipearan a’ ruith fad 20 mionaid le 10 mionaidean a bharrachd airson cheistean agus deasbaid. Bu chòir do gheàrr-chunntasan (mu 250 facal) de na pàipearan bhith gan cur thugainn ro 29 an Gearran 2012.

CALL FOR PAPERS
Rannsachadh na Gàidhlig, the biennial scholarly conference on Scottish Gaelic studies, will be hosted by the University of Glasgow between 21 and 23 August 2011.
We would welcome submissions for scholarly papers (in Gaelic or English) on any aspect of Gaelic studies, including history, literature, linguistics, education, art, language policy, onomastics, the media, and social and economic policy. Papers from postgraduate students will be particularly welcome.
Papers should last 20 minutes with a further 10 minutes for questions and discussion. Abstracts (c. 250 words) should be sent to us by 29 February 2012.

The conference registration website will open in the middle of March.
