Welcome to University of Glasgow Singapore (UGS). UGS is the first subsidiary furth of Scotland in the University's 560-year history. UGS started operation at Ngee Ann Polytechnic campus on 8 August 2011 and was officially marked open in Singapore by Professor Andrea Nolan, Senior Vice Principal of UoG, on 6 September 2011. In partnership with Singapore Institute of Technology (SIT), we warmly welcome highly qualified polytechnic graduates to our exciting Honours degree programmes delivered in Singapore, including:
- BEng (Honours) in Aeronautical Engineering
- BEng (Honours) in Aerospace Systems
- BEng (Honours) in Mechanical Design Engineering
- BEng (Honours) in Mechatronics
- Professor Yun Li, Director of University of Glasgow Singapore
Our Mission:
- To deliver undergraduate degree programmes in Singapore to the standards of University of Glasgow in the UK;
- To provide PhD training and to facilitate EngD (IPP) programmes in Singapore;
- To develop research collaboration with Singapore’s AUs, A*STAR and other Governmental organisations, and NGOs;
- To develop consultancy and undergraduate project collaboration with industrial companies and R&D organisations in Singapore.

To be the University of Glasgow’s centre of excellence serving the Asia-Pacific region.
