The Research Division of Electronics and Nanoscale Engineering at the University of Glasgow brings together three demonstrably world leading research areas within the School of Engineering in the areas of device modelling, micro- and nanotechnology and optoelectronics.
We strive to be a world leading contributor to scientific and technology understanding in the above areas and to covert this for economic benefit by engaging closely with governmental funding agencies, industrial collaborators academic partners.
The Division comprises 27 members of academic staff, 55 post-doctoral researchers and 63 PhD students undertaking research in areas spanning nanofabrication and multi-scale heterogeneous integration; nano-CMOS fluctuation simulation and Monte Carlo modelling; electronic and photonic devices, circuits and systems; integrated sensors, THz technologies and embedded nanotechnology solutions.
