IT Information

Accounts

You will need your Glasgow UserID (GUID) and password to access your email, student records, Moodle and other IT systems.

GLOW

Your Glow username and password are not the same as your University account. Glow username is made up of "ug" and your student GUID, eg ug1023847g.

CSCE

The St. Andrew's building is equipped with student computer clusters using the Common Student Computing Environment (CSCE). The CSCE offers a consistent set of applications and settings including Microsoft Office, Internet Explorer, standard file management and anti-virus programs.

Wireless access via the Flexible Network Access service

You can access the wireless services on campus in most areas within the St. Andrew's building. You should use your Glasgow UserID (GUID) and password to connect to the Flexible Network Access service. Wireless hotspots are located in the rooms below
