Robert Hamilton is the co-ordinator of the open programme of courses for the public. He is also a subject specialist in history, with a specialism in American History.

Advises voluntary organisations and local authorities on adult learning opportunities and programmes.

Member of University of Glasgow American Studies Group, Glasgow Historical Association, Scottish Association for the Study of America.

Additional information

Dr Hamilton has a particular interest in the promotion of  learning opportunities in the community and undertakes regular teaching commitments with voluntary and community groups.
