Biography

Biography:

Maria Evangelopoulou is currently a PhD candidate and a Research Associate working on a joint project with FAA and US Navy about identifying vulnerabilities and visualisation techniques of cyber security incidents in aviation. At the same time she is working as a Principal Investigator with UK nuclear industries investigating Cyber security issues and Forensic techniques on ICS/SCADA systems. Previously she was involved in a FP7 project with title: “ETCS Advanced Testing and Smart Train Positioning System ”. Maria attained a MSc in Intelligence and Security Informatics from the University of Abertay and a BSc in Technology Management from University of Macedonia in Greece. Generally, Maria's current research is concerned with the investigation of Cyber Situation Awareness Methods and Techniques in Cloud Networks and other kind of systems.
