PhDs in Arts of China and Medieval Art: joint supervision at Christie's Education, London

We are currently looking for highly motivated PhD students (with an MA or equivalent degree) in two main areas of study:

  • English Medieval Art, its production and consumption including: manuscript studies, stained glass and wall painting studies as well as those qualified in textile conservation and technical art history
  • Arts of China

PhDs will be supervised by staff in both locations: Christie's Education, London and the University of Glasgow.

Applicants must provide a one-page outline of the programme of research (around 500 words). You are advised to consult with the appropriate members of staff and potential supervisors at the University of Glasgow or Christie’s Education before submitting the initial outline.
