Masters/MSc in Media Management

This programme is taught in a dedicated postgraduate teaching and research centre and offers a unique combination of advanced level media and management-related studies with a special focus on media economics and on media and cultural policy. The Course Director Dr Gillian Doyle is an international expert in media economics and was the creator of the first media management programme in the UK. Since leaving Stirling University and joining the University of Glasgow in 2007, Dr Doyle leads the teaching in these core areas, while this programme also draws on Glasgow's international strengths in business-related teaching and research through its collaboration with the Glasgow Business School. The programme offers an academically rigorous experience and aims to hone the analytical skills and sector-specific knowledge of those interested in management careers in the media sector.
