About the workshop:

Internationalisation is a key driver in the Scottish economy and it is accepted that success in this area is increasingly important if we are to accelerate Scotland's economic development.

The Community for Internationalisation and Enterprise Research (CIER), in association with The Institute for Small Business and Entrepreneurship (ISBE), hosted a workshop to look at what has been learnt recently as companies grow internationally.

The workshop provided an opportunity for business leaders to meet leading academic thinkers on how SME owners/ managers learn. It also allowed business leaders to influence academics and ensure they understand what companies need as they expand internationally.
