PhD Success for CIER Researcher

We are delighted that Lucrezia Casulli has successfully defended her PhD thesis on the reasoning processes and heuristics of SME leaders in making internationalization decisions. Her external examiner was Professor Erkko Autio of Imperial College London, one of the world's top international entrepreneurship scholars. He expressed his admiration for Ezia's meticulous research. Ezia, who put in a mature performance at the viva, was supervised by Professor Marian Jones along with Dr Anna Morgan-Thomas. CIER congratulates Ezia and wishes her well in her current role at Newcastle University.
