How do I apply for Accommodation?
The University's Residential Services provide details of the different types of accommodation available. For session 2013/14, you will be able to apply online for accommodation from February 2013.
Accommodation is guaranteed for international applicants provided you have accepted an unconditional offer or met the conditions of a conditional offer and have also submitted your application for accommodation before 22 August.

How do I apply for postgraduate taught programmes?
Information about the application procedure is available on the University's Recruitment and International Office web site. Applicants can:
- apply online: you should first register to use this facility
- apply by post: the relevant application and referees forms can be downloaded from this web site, or
- apply through one of our international representatives. Applicants from Ghana and Nigeria can only apply by this method.
You can apply for more than one programme in which case you are encouraged to list these in your order of preference.

When do I need to apply?
There is an application deadline by which you should have submitted your application. Different deadlines for September entry have been set depending on whether you are an applicant from the UK and EU, or an international (non-EU) applicant.

Where do I find information about the cost of living?
The appendices of the International Student Handbook provide details about the cost of living charges you can expect to pay during your time at the University. The figures indicated are estimates.

Where can I find out about the content of my programme?
Our postgraduate taught programmes each consist of six courses, the details of which can be found by browsing the online course catalogue.
You can filter your search by School or by Subject. The postgraduate taught courses are listed at the bottom of each page.

What is the English language requirement for postgraduate taught programmes?
The University sets a minimum English language proficiency level for applicants whose first language is not English.
Language support is also provided for international students by the University's English as a Foreign Language Unit in the form of both pre-and in-sessional courses.

Do you provide scholarships?
The University's scholarships web page provides detailed information about the range of scholarships available. You are encouraged to regularly check this information which is updated as scholarships become available.
