AACSBWe are delighted to announce that the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) have recommended that the Adam Smith Business School maintain its highly prestigious accreditation for the business degree programs offered by our School.

First adopted in 1919, the AACSB Standards challenge higher education establishments to pursue excellence and continuous improvement throughout their business programs and represents the highest standard of achievement for business schools worldwide.  With less than 5% of the world’s business programs earning AACSB Accreditation, and with only 29 accredited business schools in the UK, this award confirms the Adam Smith Business School’s commitment to quality and continuous improvement.

The AACSB accreditation entails a meticulous internal review and evaluation process during which the Adam Smith Business School developed and implemented a mission-driven plan to satisfy 15 quality standards.   Programs receiving AACSB accreditation have superior faculty, high-calibre teaching, meaningful interactions between students and faculty and produce graduates who have achieved specific learning goals.  AACSB accreditation is the hallmark of excellence in management education.

The Adam Smith Business School is committed to providing our students with the highest quality faculty, relevant and challenging curriculum and the knowledge base to ensure that they become desirable to future employers and the leaders of tomorrow.
