Business at Glasgow rated 9th in the UK

The University of Glasgow Business School is rated 9th in the UK according to the Guardian University Guide.
For Business and management, which covers business studies, management studies, finance, accounting, marketing, human resource management and business and administrative studies, Glasgow is rated 9th in the UK, a spot it shares with London School of Economics. The Business School has moved up three places from 12th last year.
Student satisfaction has increased from 92 to 95%. In careers, Glasgow is 8th in the UK for business and management. 77% of our graduates in business in management obtain graduate-level jobs within 6 months of graduation - up from 70% last year.
Overall, the University of Glasgow is ranked 14th in the UK.
The Guardian's university league tables cover full-time, undergraduate courses at higher education institutions in England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland, and are aimed at those wanting to start university in the 2013-14 academic year.
The Guardian University rankings focus on the student experience. Institutions are rated for teaching quality, feedback and assessment - based on the percentage of students satisfied; national student survey results; spending per student; staff-student ratio; career prospects; the effectiveness of teaching at an institution; and entry qualifications.
