PhD scholarships announced

The University of Glasgow Business School will once again be offering a range of PhD scholarships for the 2013/14 academic year.

University of Glasgow Business School invites applications for six fully funded PhD studentships for doctoral research. The awards will cover full tuition fees, and include a bursary and support for conference attendance.

The Business School is looking for exceptionally well-qualified individuals in the Subject Areas of Accountancy & Finance, Business & Management and Economics. Areas in which the School specializes, and of particular interest for potential applicants are Accounting, Entrepreneurship, Environment, Finance, International Business, Marketing and Strategic Management.

Applicants will be expected to have successfully completed a Masters degree in a relevant discipline before they commence their PhD studies. The studentships are open to home/EU and International applicants. Only full-time applicants are eligible. Existing Glasgow PhD students will not be considered.  


Scholarship winners will enjoy dedicated office space and may be enrolled as a Graduate Teaching Assistant, gaining valuable teaching experience, boosting their employability.
