Monday, 25 March 2013: Opportunities in Kanagawa Prefecture
Ms Honami Yatagai, Representative of Kanagawa Prefecture Government
Unfortunately the final lecture scheduled on Monday, 25th March 2013, with Ms Honami Yatagai will no longer take place
Kanagawa Prefecture lies south of Tokyo and its capital is Yokohama City. It is part of the Tokyo Metropolitan region, which accounts for a third of Japan’s population and 37% of its economy. The prefecture is keen to encourage foreign investment (275 foreign companies are headquartered there), it has an excellent transport network (airport, bullet train and motorways); affordable office space, an excellent human resource pool, R&D clusters and good living facilities for families.
Ms Yatagai is currently based in London promoting Kanagawa among European companies, but she is also highly experienced in managing inward. Her talk would be of interest for business professionals and for those trying to emulate Kanagawa’s success.
