Data Lab MSc Funded Places

Description

The Schools of Computing Science and Mathematics and Statistics have a number of funded places available on the MSc Data Science and MSc Data Analytics programmes, for entry in September 2017. This funding is directly linked to The Data Lab, an innovation centre focused on helping Scottish industry to capitalise on a growing market opportunity in data science, and the Scottish Funding Council and European Social Fund. The award is aimed at supporting students gain a deeper knowledge and skill-set in Data Science. With the advent of Big Data this award is highly attractive to students hoping to work in this sector and ensures that Scotland is invested in talented students who will fill industry skills gaps.

  • Candidates must hold on offer of study for one of the eligible programmes in order to be considered for an award
