Dr Anne Keitel
- Research Associate (Centre for Cognitive Neuroimaging)
My main research interests are the processing of language, conversations, and actions. I am particularly interested in neural mechanisms (oscillations) underlying this processing. I joined the Centre for Cognitive Neuroimaging (CCNi) at the University of Glasgow in February 2014. In my current position, I am working with Prof Christoph Kayser ("Pathways and mechanisms underlying the visual enhancement of hearing in challenging environments"). I also have ongoing projects with Prof Joachim Gross ("Spectral signatures during rest") and Dr Sara Sereno ("Emotion processing in concrete and abstract words"). I obtained my PhD in February 2014 at the Max-Planck-Institute for Human Cognitive and Brain Sciences in Leipzig ("Action perception in development", supervised by Prof Moritz M Daum and Prof Wolfgang Prinz).
