| MSc programme only | Course 9: Research Design & quantitative methods (60 credits) The Research Portfolio will comprise a Literature Review and an original Research Proposal. Written in the format of a research paper (Literature Review), and a grant application or ethics application (Research Proposal) with an appendix of other relevant material (e.g. the advice for contributors from a chosen journal). Candidates must also complete a practical exercise of competence in data handling / analysis and together these three assessments will confer the 60 credits.
