Left panel shows a T2 weighted image from 2 different coronal slices of the rat brain in a sham operated rat. Middle panel shows the Fractional Anisotropy (FA) map from the respective T2 images. Right panel shows colour coded FA map. Red indicates medial-lateral, Blue indicates anterior–posterior and green the dorsal–ventral movement of water.
