Dr Lindsay Maclellan

Lindsay gained her MSci in Molecular & cellular biology at the University of Glasgow and went on complete a BBSRC funded PhD at the University researching avb5 and related receptors in human B lymphocyte development. She remained at the University as Research Assistant for a number of years gaining valuable experience in arthritis research as well as more specialised research in development of a potential therapy for C difficile infection.
In 2013 Lindsay began a career in industry firstly as a Technical Sales Representative with Miltenyi Biotec and then as Study Director with MD Bioscience where she designed and conducted in vitro research studies.
With valuable industry experience Lindsay returned to the University of Glasgow to take up the roles of Research Associate where she researched the development of EBV vaccine using a commercially developed adjuvant designed to improve response to latent antigens via the induction of cross presentation in DCs.
Lindsay then joined the GLAZgo Discovery Centre team in May 2015 as a Research Associate.
