MRes in Virology

The MRes Virology is a collaborative Masters programme delivered members of the Centre for Virus Research and colleagues from the College of Medical, Veterinary and Life Sciences. It is suitable for UK/EU and overseas students with a first degree in biomedical sciences who seek to enhance their laboratory experience and research skills, and to increase their knowledge in modern virology. Students will undertake two twenty week virology-based research projects supplemented by taught sessions on virology and on generic research skills. The programme may be studied on a full time basis (12 months) or part time (24 months). Postgraduate Certificate and Diploma options are also available.
