Genetics, Genomics & Systems Medicine

We aim to better understand the pathogenesis of cardiovascular diseases by using systems biology and systems medicine approaches. 

Our work contains and integrates genomics, transcriptomics and proteomics and translates findings from pre-clinical models to human disease and vice versa.  This research theme benefits from close collaboration between clinical and basic scientists and state-of-the-art facilities for both clinical research and genetic and molecular work.
