Biography

I joined the Institute of Health and Wellbeing as a Research Assistant at the Scottish Learning Disabilities Observatory. My projects in this role have centred around the health and health inequalities experienced by people with intellectual disabilities.

I graduated from the University of Glasgow with an MA (Soc Sci) in Psychology before going on to complete an MSc in Social and Organisational Psychology at the University of Exeter, and a PhD in Psychological Medicine at the University of Glasgow. My PhD focussed on the mental health and wellbeing of fathers of a son or daughter with intellectual disabilities.
