Protein Characterisation Facility
The Protein Characterisation Facility has been established to support the work of researchers at the University of Glasgow in the characterisation of protein structure, function, stability and interactions with other macromolecules in solution. Facilities include Circular Dichroism, Fluorescence and Absorbance spectroscopy under steady state and stopped flow conditions. A BIACORE 2000 biosensor is available for use in the study of macromolecular interactions in real time.

Access to the facility instruments can be arranged by e-mail.
Members of other academic and industrial institutions may apply for access to the facility.
An application form should be completed and e-mailed to Sharon Kelly (detailing the nature of your proposed studies) at the time of request.
