If you are interested in working with us, we strongly advise that you get in touch with someone in the Centre about your interests. One of our big challenges is placing the right people in the right positions, and this is best done by designing the science around the person. We can't do that if we don't know who you are.
While there often isn't much flex in our ability to create PhD studentships, we can work with potential post-doctoral applicants in devising grants that might enable them to work with us here.
We are also particularly keen (as is everyone else) to draw in post-doctoral fellows, and are happy to help craft competitive post-doctoral fellowship applications (within the centre, and the institutes and schools we work in, there is a great deal of expertize and help to be had). We'd also draw your attention to the following sites, most of which have deadlines in the late autumn.
NERC, BBSRC, Royal Society, Wellcome, Leverhulme, HFSP, and Marie-Curie.
