Research Interests
I am currently working as a Postdoctoral Research Associate in the School of Education at the University of Glasgow. My area of research is Biology Education, and specifically evolution education. I am working with Dr Rebecca Mancy on a project to explore students' personal experiences of learning the theory of evolution at tertiary level. A second project currently in progress with Dr Mancy & Mr Yasri (School of Education) is about exploring student teachers perceptions of relating science and religion. I am also interested in using the concept of systems thinking in biology education. Currently, I am working on a paper with Dr Donald Gray for the University of Aberdeen on systems thinking.
