Events
There are a variety of different meetings worth knowing about:
Centre members meet fortnightly. Boyd Orr Centre meetings alternate between the Faculty of Biomedical and Life Sciences (when the venue is the Graham Kerr Library) on Tuesdays at 11am, and the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine (when the venue is the Jarrett Lecture Theatre) on Thursdays at 4pm (after which drinks are available in the Resource Centre). To be placed on the circulation list for these meetings please contact Rob Critchlow. The schedule is available here.
The Centre holds research planning meetings every 3-4 months. These are usually 'away-days' at the University field station on Loch Lomond (SCENE). Contact Dan Haydon if you would be interested in attending the next meeting.
Graduate students associated with the Centre hold weekly discussion meetings on a variety of quantitative and statistical methods. Contact Angus Cameron for more information about these meetings.
The epidemiology group at the Vet School meet on Thursday mornings. Contact Tim Parkin for more information about these meetings.
A mathematical modelling 'study group' meets alternate Tuesdays in the Graham Kerr Library at 11am. Contact Marco Morelli for information about these meetings.
