Office of the Vice Principal for Research & Enterprise

 Professor Steven Beaumont, Vice Principal for Research and Enterprise reports directly to the Principal and Vice Chancellor of the University, and has overall responsibility for the University's Research & Knowledge Transfer strategy and policies, and their delivery.  He is also responsible for operational matters including negotiations and relationships with research sponsors and strategic partners.  He oversees the University’s enterprise activities, including research links with industry and the promotion of spinout companies. 

The Vice Principal and his team works closely with the academic community to achieve Glasgow's goal of being one of the world's great, broad based research intensive Universities.
