Arts at Glasgow brings together the Schools of Humanities, Critical Studies, Culture & Creative Arts, and Modern Languages & Cultures. Multidisciplinary research is conducted in ArtsLab.

College of Medical, Veterinary and Life Sciences

We bring together internationally-renowned experts in order to advance research in medical, veterinary and life sciences. Our collaborative, multidisciplinary approach means we can study processes at every level of their biological organization, from genes to cells, organs, individuals, populations and ecosystems. Our high quality research is used across the UK and internationally to improve human and animal health, quality of life and the competitiveness of the UK economy.  Our annual  research income exceeds £52M.  The College includes six research institutes.

College of Science and Engineering

Science and Engineering at Glasgow brings together the study of chemistry, computing science, engineering, geographical & earth sciences, mathematics & statistics, psychology and physics & astronomy.

We work to understand the world we live in, to do research that is relevant to global needs and to help create the emerging technologies of the 21st century.

College of Social Sciences

Social Sciences at Glasgow brings together the study of business, education, law, social and political science, as well as the School of Interdisciplinary Studies at the University’s campus in Dumfries, and the Adam Smith Research Foundation. Our world-leading research and teaching spans the key social, legal, economic, educational and political questions of the day.
