Research Themes

SUERC is fundamentally an inter-disciplinary Research Centre and we are anxious not to build artificial barriers within the organization.  For clarity we group our research into four over-arching themes but there is substantial overlap between the themes and many of our research programmes involve interaction between our core themes of:

• Isotope Geosciences Unit (IGU)

• Radiometrics, Environmental Chemistry & Radiocarbon

• Isotope Biology Laboratory (IBL)

• Accelerator Mass Spectrometry (AMS)
