The Scottish Centre for Innovation in Spinal Cord Injury brings together a multidisciplinary team of engineers, scientists and clinicians to engage in fundamental, applied and clinically-relevant research in all disciplines pertinent to the treatment and quality of life of people with spinal cord injury.

Expertise and disciplines include Rehabilitation Engineering at the University of Glasgow, Bioengineering at the University of Strathclyde, and Health Engineering at Glasgow Caledonian University. The Centre includes researchers in cell biology from Glasgow University's Medical Faculty and the Faculty of Biomedical and Life Sciences, together with psychologists from the University of Stirling and Napier University. We are working to embrace further research groups with complementary expertise.
