Developing a Sustainable Glasgow - Call for Proposals

In September 2012 the University set up a Knowledge Exchange investment fund to pump prime KE activities with strong potential for REF related impacts. The University seeks to use this funding, in collaboration with Sustainable Glasgow to identify and fund up to 5 projects that have potential to make significant contributions to the city’s sustainable vision.

The application format should follow the standard GKE fund application process for which guidelines are available on http://www.gla.ac.uk/services/rsio/knowledgeexchange/glasgowknowledgeexchangefund/

In the case of this specific call, the maximum funding available is £20K per project and projects should not be longer than 4 months in duration, to start no later than January 2014.

The deadline for submissions is 1st September 2013.

For more information, guidelines and details of how to apply please see Sustainable Glasgow - Call for Proposals.

The call for proposals was launched at SDN's first sustainability festival, 'Sustainability: Ideas Worth Sharing' on 1st July 2013.  Michael Burns, Director of Sustainable Glasgow, delivered the keynote speech, Glasgow: Regeneration, Sustainability and Future City.
