OPENING DOORS
Access, vocational guidance and social exclusion
This open learning package was devised and piloted by a European partnership, supported by the Leonardo da Vinci Programme of the
European Community. The curriculum was designed by Professor Peter Plant of the Danish Educational University, Copenhagen, with Dr Pamela Clayton, Research Fellow, Department of Adult and Continuing Education, University of Glasgow. The other project partners were DHV CR, Prague; the Vantaa Institute for Continuing Education, Helsinki; and the Consorzio Gino Mattarelli, Brescia. The course is in English, Czech, Finnish and Italian.
This is intended to be used by adult vocational guidance workers, or by any others who work with and for disadvantaged people, whether these are professionals seeking to refresh their skills and extend their range or para-professionals without guidance qualifications. It is freely available for use by individuals, on condition that the copyright of the authors is respected. Please note that tuition and conferencing faciliies are not currently available in any language.
