Comprehensive facilities

Our single site houses preclinical and clinical departments including the new Small Animal Hospital, the Weipers Centre for Equine Welfare and the Scottish Centre for Production Animal Health & Food Safety which was opened in 2009. Cochno Farm & Research Centre, an additional teaching facility, is only five miles away. The Master of Veterinary Public Health programme is grounded in our school’s areas of strength in quantitative epidemiology and risk analysis; applied microbiology and food safety; and animal management. We have built upon research and teaching links with partner organisations Health Protection Scotland and City of Glasgow College to offer a comprehensive set of courses in veterinary public health. Our programme is designed to be delivered through a combination of intensive residential training blocks and periods of distance education, providing more flexible access to learning
