Urban Regeneration
Background
The MSc in Urban Regeneration aims to provide students with a thorough grounding in a variety of aspects of urban regeneration policy and practice. Core elements of the course will afford a broad understanding of contemporary urban change, governance and policy, whilst topic courses will provide for a deeper insight into specific issues which contribute to, or detract from, city and neighbourhood development.
This degree will be attractive to students who wish to focus on practical policies and strategies for changing cities and addressing economic and physical problems within them. It is appropriate for those already involved in urban regeneration, who wish to deepen and extend their knowledge of the causes and possible solutions to urban problems. It is also suitable for students who wish to embark on a career in urban regeneration policy or practice.
