Millau ViaductThere are a number of exciting job opportunities available to you in Scotland, the UK and beyond after graduating with an MSc in Structural Engineering and Mechanics.  There is a strong demand for graduates with knowledge and understanding of the advanced analysis and computational modelling techniques taught in this programme.

Our graduates have taken up engineering jobs in a broad range of civil and structural engineering companies. 

The MSc programme is also a perfect basis for PhD studies which can, of course, be pursued at either the University of Glasgow or the University of Edinburgh. 

In addition to the theorectical and analytical education in structural engineering that students receive, they also develop a number of technical skills and more general transferable skills that are invaluable in their future careers.
