This degree is intended to prepare students for a career as a chartered surveyor, primarily as a member of the Planning and Development Professional Group of the RICS.

Part 3: Research Experience and Skills (60 credits)
In Part 3, students work in depth on a real estate or regeneration topic of their own choice (subject to the approval of the Programme Director), pursuing original investigative work through an academic dissertation or practically orientated action project. This work is supported by research methods training, review seminars and the appointment of an academic supervisor for each student.
