Nanoscience and Nanotechnology
Programme Strucure
Core Taught Modules:
You will obtain a basic skill set in nanoscience and nonfabrication, and an awareness of the multidisciplinary breadth of the field. Nanofabrication introduces the fundamental tools and process used in nanoscale fabrication, whilst Electronic Devices 3 familiarises you with the key nanoscale device, the silicon FET, allowing you to apply fabrication techniques in practice. Micro and Nano Technology will significantly deepen your understanding of fabrication processes, whilst Introduction to research in Nanoscience and Nanotechnology, gives you a broad overview of the state-of-art in the field, thorough a series of expert lectures.
