We are fortunate to have good contacts with a wide range of employers. During the MSc programme you will have opportunities to meet industrial speakers who contribute to the “Professional skills & issues” course. Employers also come to make recruitment presentations, and often seek to recruit our graduates during the programme. We recognize that undertaking the programme may be a significant investment of your time and money, and so we encourage you to take advantage of these opportunities.

Employers are interested in graduates who have a combination of good technical skills and well-developed personal skills, and in this respect our MSc graduates are particularly well placed. During the programme you will have opportunities to develop relevant professional skills and to learn from employers about working in the IT industry.

As an MSc graduate you will also be well qualified to progress to a PhD, in the University of Glasgow or elsewhere.
