Visas, fees and accommodation

You should check our information about visas as the one week visit to Glasgow is a compulsory part of the programme and some students will need a visa for this visit.

Fees for Session 2013-14

This programme is part of the College of Social Sciences postgraduate taught programme. All programme fees are part of a banding system which sets the fees as follows:

Full fee for MED LTHE (180 credits) (Includes fees for years 1, 2 and 3 of the MEd)

*Please note that on successful completion of year one of the programme, if your employing institution pays a subscription fee to the Higher Education Academy, there is no charge for accreditation. However, if you are not employed by a subscribing institution there is an additional one off subscription fee of £150 payable to the HEA for accreditation.

Fees for the programme do not include the cost of accommodation for the week in Glasgow. Details of reasonably priced accommodation are available.
