Why an MSc in Electronic & Electrical Engineering and Management?

This degree is designed for students with an engineering background, but little management experience. You will develop knowledge and skills of management principles and techniques in your first semester and advance your technical expertise in the second, through a choice of electronic & electrical engineering modules.

Students of this degree will get first-hand experience of managing an engineering project through the integrated system design module, allowing development of project management, quality management and accountancy. A great deal of flexibility is extended to students when choosing the electronic and electrical engineering modules in the second semester, giving you the opportunity to study courses that are of greatest interest to you.

In the most recent independent survey of research quality, the Research Assessment Exercise for 2008, the School of Engineering had 88% of its research activities classified as being of international standard, including 55% classified as world-leading or internationally excellent.
