You will complete six taught modules. The modules on offer are

  • Computer communications 2 (local area networks) - Dr Faiz Rahman
  • Digital signal processing 1 (Causal signals) - Dr Bernd Porr
  • Digital signal processing 2 (Image processing) - Dr Bernd Porr
  • Electrical energy systems - Prof Enrique Acha
  • Micro and nano technology - Dr Nigel Johnson
  • Microwave and millimetre wave circuit design - Dr Khaled Elgaid
  • Intelligent systems and control - Dr Yun Li
  • Optical communications - Prof Ann Bryce
  • VLSI design and CAD - Dr Timothy Drysdale

All modules are independent from each other providing you with the flexibility to choose the modules that you want to study.
